A Scott Rasmussen national survey found that Kamala Harris leads Donald Trump by five percentage points in the race for the White House. The national survey of 3,000 Registered Voters was conducted July 29-31, 2024 and found Harris attracting 47% of the vote and Trump earning 42%.
A week earlier, the first Trump-Harris survey conducted after Biden dropped out found Trump at 44% and Harris at 43% among Registered Voters. In that survey, the Harris numbers were essentially the same as Biden’s had been before the June 27 debate.
The current results suggest that Harris is enjoying a convention-like bounce before the convention. Voters continue to know little about her.
