42% Say U.S. Should Support Israel, 13% Say the Palestinians

Forty-two percent (42%) of voters believe the United States should support Israel in the Middle East conflict. A Napolitan News national survey found that 30% believe we should not support either side and just 13% think the U.S. support the Palestinians.

As for the presidential candidates, 31% believe Kamala Harris supports Israel and 21% think she supports the Palestinians. Their views are clearer on Donald Trump: half (47%) believe he supports Israel and 13% think he believes we should not support either side.

Among voters who think we should support Israel, 33% think Harris shares their view and 67% think Trump agrees with them.

This Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on October 21-22, 2024. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
