Swing State Voters Are More Pessimistic About Their Personal Finances

The most important economic indicator from a political perspective is how people feel about their personal finances.

Nationally, 26% say their finances are getting better while 39% say worse. However, voters in swing states are more pessimistic.

These Napolitan News Service surveys were conducted online by Scott Rasmussen. The most recent national survey was conducted October 7-10, 2024 and has a margin of error of +/- 1.8. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc.
