57% Believe It Should Be Illegal For Employers To Require A College Degree

Fifty-seven percent (57%) of voters believe that it should be against the law for an employer to require a college degree unless the employer can prove a degree is absolutely necessary for the job. Thirty-one percent (31%) disagree.

Sixty-nine percent (69%) believe companies regularly require degrees for jobs that could be done just as well without a degree, 17% disagree.

For those without a college degree, the job market can be tough with competition from illegal immigrants on one end, and the pressure to obtain an expensive degree on the other, with no reasonable space in the middle to find gainful employment.
