Ten percent (10%) of voters mistakenly believe that Hamas supports a two-state solution in the Middle East. A Napolitan News survey found that 60% know that Hamas wants the destruction of Israel.
A two-state solution has often been touted as the best way to establish peace in Israel. Forty-three percent (43%) know that the Palestinians have always rejected a two state solution, and nearly as many (40%) don’t know. Just 17% believe that to be untrue.
The overwhelming majority of Americans, (84%) believe that Israel has the right to exist. Only 8% disagree.
Please note this survey was conducted prior to yesterday’s attacks on Israel from Iran.
This Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on September 30, 2024. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc. and has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
