69% of the Politically Active Elite 1% Would Rather Cheat Than Lose a Close Election

As the campaign season continues on, candidates and their teams are pulling out all the stops to try and convince voters that they are the right person for the job. Both candidates and the ones funding their campaigns have a lot of skin in the game, but what are they willing to do to bring home the win?

The Elite 1% are an influential and powerful group of individuals who impact legislators, media coverage and the political narrative on how Americans vote. Thirty-five percent (35%) of this influential group would rather cheat than lose a close election. Even worse, among the politically active Elite 1% – those who talk politics every day – 69% would rather cheat than lose a close election. In comparison, the desire to cheat is almost non-existent among the voting public — just 7% of all voters would rather cheat than lose a close election.

This huge difference between the Elite 1% and voters is another example showing just how out of touch the Elite 1% are with the values and morals of everyday Americans.

The RMG Research survey of the Elite 1% was performed September 11-26, 2023 for the Committee to Unleash Prosperity.
