Voters and Elite 1% Agree, Colleges Have Been Too Lenient in Dealing with Protesters

54% of the Elite 1% believe that colleges have been too lenient in dealing with protesters on campus. The RMG Research survey of the Elite 1% was performed May 1-6, 2024 for the Napolitan Institute.

Over half (51%) of voters said they think colleges have been too lenient with protestors. A Napolitan News Service Survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted May 6-7, 2024.

25% of Elites believe that colleges have been too harsh on protesters, and 20% of voters believe that colleges have been too harsh.

72% of Republican Elites believe colleges have been too lenient with protestors while less than half (46%) of Democratic Elites believe colleges have been to lenient.
