Trump Harris Tied at 49%

Among likely voters, including leaners, the race for the White House is tied 49% for Trump and 49% for Harris. A Napolitan News Service survey of 2,404 Likely Voters was conducted August 19-22, 2024.

Harris received no bounce from the Democratic National Convention this week, proving a high level of stability in the race. Two weeks ago, the race was tied at 49% among likely voters. Last week, it was Trump 49% and Harris 47%.

Currently, Kamala Harris leads among women, black and hispanic voters, those in urban areas, voters with postgraduate degrees, and those who earn more than $75k a year. Donald Trump leads among men, white voters, those in rural areas, voters with a bachelor’s degree or less, and those making between $35k and $75k a year.
