Just 34% of Voters say they are Better off Today than they were Four Years Ago

Just 34% of voters say they are better off today than they were four years ago. A Napolitan News Service Survey also found that only 24% of voters rate the US economy as good or excellent. This survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted August 20-21, 2024.

In regards to their personal finances, 23% say their personal finances are getting better, and 38% say they are getting worse.

27% of voters believe the economy is getting better, while 54% believe it’s getting worse. 43% of voters believe the United States is currently in a recession.

This Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on August 20-21, 2024. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc.
