77% of the Elite 1% would like to impose restrictions and rationing on the private use of gas, meat, and electricity. The survey, commissioned by the Committee to Unleash Prosperity, of the Elite 1% was performed by RMG Research on September 11-26, 2023.
Only 28% of registered voters favor these restrictions with 63% opposing them. The Committee to Unleash Prosperity Survey of 1,000 elites was conducted September 18-19, 2023.
The most extreme divide between registered voters and the Elite 1% can be found in the banning of private air conditioning. 34% of Elites strongly favor banning private air-conditioning while 62% of voters strongly oppose banning it.
