Just 37% of voters say they are better off today than they were four years ago. This has remained consistent for the majority of the last 4 months, and is up slightly since the beginning of the year.
A Napolitan News Service Survey of 1,000 registered voters also found that just 23% say their personal finances are getting better while 38% say they’re getting worse.
The survey was conducted just prior to the presidential debate on Tuesday. Polling is currently in the field to see who voters trust on the economy following the debate.
This Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters was conducted online by Scott Rasmussen on September 9-10, 2024, BEFORE the presidential debate. Field work for the survey was conducted by RMG Research, Inc.
