Kamala Harris remains unknown to voters. Axios reported on nine major issues Harris has flipped on since beginning her campaign. Recent polling by Napolitan News Service on some of these key issues shows that a large number of Americans have no idea what she stands for.
Building a Wall: Once in opposition to the project, Harris has now pledged that she will spend hundreds of millions of dollars on the southern border. Fifty-five percent (55%) of voters believe that she is still opposed to building a wall to secure the southern border.
Fracking: Harris now says that she would not ban fracking, even though this was her stance during her 2019 presidential campaign. Forty-two percent (42%) of voters believe that she still believes that fracking should be banned.
Health Care: As a Senator, Harris was in favor of Medicare for all but has since walked back her support. Forty-one percent (41%) believe that she supports a government run health care system.
Gun Control: During her 2019 presidential campaign, Harris voiced support for a mandatory buy back program for assault rifles. She is no longer voicing support for this plan. Fifty-three percent (53%) of voters believe that Harris thinks the private ownership of guns should be outlawed.
Voters simply don’t know Harris or the fact that she has flipped on many major policies. Harris is doing a disservice to the American people by not clearly stating what she stands for.
